PAYMENT

A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to secure a booking. The remainder is due at the time of the session.
You may not downsize to a smaller package after you have paid the deposit for that package. However, you may upgrade to a larger package at any time. Separate charges will apply for the specified package.

RETOUCHING

The retouching process begins once proofs are selected. The time taken to choose proofs will serve as a factor in the retouching process. Clients who choose their proofs first will get their photos retouched first, regardless of when their photos were taken and which package they have. Any approved retouched photos may not be considered for re-editing. All changes are final once approved and any extra retouching desired by the client is subject to separate charges per revision.
As the client, you are allowed to decide which images you want edited. If you are unhappy in any way with the images, you may request a re-edit at a cost. The photographer may choose to perform the edit or not.
Major modifications to an image requested by a client will be subject to a cost.

TRAVELING AND LOCATION FEES

Costs (parking tickets, towing fees, etc.) associated with the location of choice of a client will be the responsibility of the client.
DC sessions are automatically subject to $50 travel fee.

In Studio Guest Sitting Fee - we allow up to two people in the studio during a session. Any more than two will be subject to a cost of $50 per person.

RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION

We allow one complementary reschedule (to be completed within 14 days of your original session date) provided you give us 72 hours notice before your session. If you give us less than 72 hours notice, we’ll consider it a cancellation and your deposit will be sacrificed. If you want to reschedule more than once, a $100 rescheduling fee is required per reschedule.

LATENESS

If you arrive late, we shoot less. If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, we’ll consider it a cancellation and your deposit will be forfeited.
We allow up to a 15 minutes grace period after which your session is subject to cancellation.

Liability - Prilix is not responsible for any injuries inflicted on any participating parties. Client(s) will be responsible for themselves and release photographer from any claims against their person or their business.

PHOTO STORAGE

Proofs are available for 120 days from the date we send your link. After 120 days, your proofs will be archived. There’s a $25 fee to reopen archived galleries.

MODEL RELEASE AND COPYRIGHT

Prilix retains rights to use all images for portfolio, samples, self-promotions online (social media) and publication. Raw files remain the exclusive property of Prilix.
It is illegal and prohibited to copy, scan, download, print, share, alter, or otherwise steal any image created by Prilix during a photo session. This includes images sent to client for proofing/selection. Client will be sent an invoice for every image stolen.
Prilix retains the Copyright and ownership of its images unless a written authorization is given by Prilix. Images may not be reproduced, printed, copied, transmitted or manipulated without the written permission from Prilix. The use of any image as the basis for another photographic concept, illustration or reproduction (digital, artist rendered or alike) is a violation of the law and is strictly prohibited. Prilix will grant the license to reproduce such images on the understanding that all invoices are paid within the Prilix stated payment terms. Prilix reserves the right to charge an additional fee if the photographs are used for purposes other than what is shown on the invoice.
